Car park,Lounge,Airport transferI
Booked car park and lounge at T2,Manchester airport for trip earlier this month.
Had to reschedule as Jet2 changed flight tmes,rang Holidayextras,helpful,sorted problem.
Car parking.No problem
Lounge.Not Holidayextra problem but lounge not great.From last use of lounge in December was disappointed.Last use plenty of food on offer, continental breakfast,porridge,pastries,full English,toast.This time croissant, pre cut bread rolls,sausage bacon etc,less choice no reduction in cost
Transfer.A dream,attended desk ,in taxi and on way in five minutes.Return pick up on time,a 16 seater minibus for the two of usBest holidays ever I got. thanks to HOliday extra..
They got me great and exciting holiday packages, I love the versatility they have, like for all preferences
My wife and two kids all got to have their own choices and preferences and me too. so that is the part which I admire most.
Services are quite efficient and reliable. they also provide all details, documents and help with consultations along with travel insurance.

Refused refund for cancellation of covid. I was even there but they never provided service. Total shambles and con men.
Car parking
I parked in Silverzone from 12 April - 19 April 2024. I picked up the car and immediately there I opened the door a strong sweet smell of perfume, my car was left in gear, the air conditioning was on full warm air, the radio volume was blasting and on the wrong radio station, my sat nat has also dissapeared but only discovered this on drive home. Clearly my car has been used by someone NOT just to move it. This is unecceptable on the drive home I felt sick because even with the windows open I cannot get rid of the smell of this sweet perfume, I am going to have to get the car valeted.
When I leave my car at Silverzone I do not expect any of my settings to be moved or messed with ( except seat distance from pedals). It is now going to cost me yo sort the smell and my sat nav. Why the radio and settings were messed with I don’t know. I should also point out that it is dangerous to leave a car in gear! Luckily I always check.Airport parking, hôtel ...amp... meals
I booked full package airport parking, hotel ... meal in good faith of their moto, free cancellation for a one time trip to visit family in the US.
On booking I realised that it had gone through without children, family room. Cancelled the next day.
I never received booking confirmation or cancellation, money had not left the account. I check it still hadn’t gone so thought it had just cancelled. On checking my credit card balance I could see it had gone out!
I had to download an app to see booking, was then advised you are issued with a voucher to redeem within 14 days. I’d spent a week sorting out trying to understand, no previous notification of it…why would I think free cancellation was not what it said on the tin!
Anyway…refusing to refund me my £356 so having to go through FCA..fingers crossed!Parking - Gatwick
Dreadful company. This company's website allowed me to book an airport parking space for a vehicle they can't actually accommodate. I turned up on the morning of my flight only to find I did not have a booking! I luckily managed to avoid missing my flight but ended up paying three times more. Contacted the CEO but they were unwilling to take any responsibility. They have absolutely no remorse for the situation they are putting their customers in. I was lucky to still catch my flights but I suspect many others weren't so fortunate. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
Airport Carparking
Really disappointed with Holiday Extras. We booked car park for 2 weeks at Leeds. Due to Covid our trip was canx and we were issued a voucher for 60 pounds. Or so I thought. I have rebooked holiday for Manchester next year and apparently despite paying extra for 'late protection cover' I booked a none transferable booking, (unknowingly) which I am not able to use on anything at all from Manchester. I've tried to book car parking, hotel and car parking, lounge... Anything tbh to use MY MONEY. I've called and asked them if they can make a note to say its none transferable..... NO! Therefore I've got a total useless 60 pound voucher I'm unable to use ON ANYTHING from Manchester. Might aswell have ripped up x3 20 pound notes. Thanks a bunch Holidays Extras.

Awfull customer service and no integrity. When I booked my airport car park, their t&c stated that if I cancelled I would get a full refund. So when my flights were cancelled, I asked to cancel my booking which they accepted and said it would take up to 30 days for the refund to appear in my account. In the mean time, they changed their t&c, the refund has been cancelled and I can only get a voucher. It's a complete scam.

NEGATIVE!
Holiday Extras push their Additional Cover and Insurance for Delayed Returns BUT accept no responsibility & refer you to their small print when it comes to resolving a claim.
IF your delay was caused by the Airline cancelling a Flight due to weather or a number of other excuses they can excuse under " Force Majeur"..you will NOT get a Refund or a Credit for the Extended Cover you paid for!!
So what cause of Delay beyond that of my own doing is covered??
Rubbish Customer Service & a total lack of responsibility or Empathy for a £10 Claim!!

People book airport hotels because they have early flights and will therefore require an early breakfast. I was sold a hotel that wouldn't serve breakfast until 8 am - what use is that?
